“If only.” That’s a conversation I hope you never have with yourself. (I’ll finish that conversation at the bottom. (Did you really just go to the bottom of the page?!)
When you think about quitting, pause to remember why you started.
There are times when all of us quit on something. It might have been quitting the theater, trying to whistle or maybe it was trying to learn that “Floss” dance…or maybe it was something bigger. (That Floss dance is hard…never mind.)
Dare to have dreams. Dare to have goals. Work toward them and make your effort greater than others who “say” they have the same goals…but aren’t willing to put in the effort. Be willing to invest in yourself. It’s been my observation that it is one of the best investments you can ever make.
Why?
Because the conversation I hope you are never a part of is the one you have in the mirror in the morning while brushing your teeth, “I wonder what might have been different…if only.”
What do you want to be known for?
Me? I’d like to be known as the guy who is hard to beat, because he just keeps keeping on.
